Merryl E. Werber

Merryl E. Werber is Senior Vice President, Chief Accounting Officer and Controller at Kilroy Realty Corporation, a NYSE traded Real Estate Investment Trust (“KRC”).  She is a Certified Public Accountant (“CPA”) in the State of New York (inactive) and has over 30 years of financial and accounting expertise, with a focus in real estate and financial services.  Merryl has presented to the Financial Accounting Standards Board (“FASB”), the National Association of Real Estate Investment Trusts (“NAREIT”), and many other professional organizations as a result of her expertise.

Merryl has been at KRC since 1998 and was previously an Audit Manager /CPA at Ernst and Young, LLP in the financial services and derivative broker dealer audit and assurance practices in New York City and Los Angeles.  She received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting from the Pennsylvania State University in 1992, where she was a member of the Omicron Delta Kappa leadership society and was the Vice President of the Undergraduate Student Government

Merryl lives in Los Angeles and has one son who attends the Clark Honors College at the University of Oregon. She serves on the Board of John Tracy Center, a private, nonprofit education center for infants and preschool children with hearing loss in Los Angeles and is a member of Chief, an international organization focused on connecting and elevating women executive leaders.
