Cyndie Dunlap

Cyndie Dunlap is the Chief Executive Officer of Sports Imports, Inc., a company that she owned solely from 2003 to 2023. Under her leadership, Sports Imports has furthered its position as the leader in the volleyball equipment industry, known for its innovation, quality, and commitment to customer service. Her approach to leadership is characterized by a strong focus on building a reputable brand, giving back to the community, and fostering a positive workplace environment.
Before her career in the business world, Cyndie earned a bachelor’s degree in nutrition science from Miami University. She also became a Registered and Certified Nutrition Support Dietitian, specializing in trauma and neonatal nutrition. In this capacity, she worked with a multi-disciplinary team to provide specialized nutrition to individuals in trauma and neonatal populations, contributing to their healing and recovery.
In addition to her professional achievements, Cyndie is a breast cancer survivor and a multiple myeloma patient. Her personal experiences with these health challenges have given her a unique perspective on the importance of progressive research and treatment for patients with multiple myeloma.
Cyndie is a mother of three children. She uses her free time to mentor others, engage in physical exercise, and travel. Her personal and professional journey reflects a commitment to positively impacting her community and the lives of those with whom she interacts.
