Adithi Rao
Research Associate
Adithi is a UCLA graduate with a B.S. in molecular, cell, and developmental biology pursuing a career in medicine and research. Her previous work includes researching the role of angiotensin-converting enzyme as it relates to immune function and cancer suppression at Cedars-Sinai and investigating the effects of focal amplifications of extrachromosomal oncogenes in colorectal cancer at UCLA. At IMBCR, she is responsible for carrying out experiments and maintaining the Myeloma BioBank and its associated projects. She spends her free time volunteering at Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center, coaching the UCLA mock trial team, and exploring Los Angeles with friends.
